Meet Pastor

Pastor Allison Siburg felt God stirring in her a call to pastoral ministry in many ways… through outdoor ministry, music, community leadership in college, studies on vocation, mentoring relationships, and in and through her family and church’s support and “taps on the shoulder.” She has been the pastor at Salem since 2016 and takes great joy in the calling to share the Good News and administer the sacraments.
She’s a graduate of Luther Seminary (2016) and Pacific Lutheran University (2009). She and her college sweetheart, Timothy, have acclimated to living and serving in Big Red Country (mostly – what is “corn hole”?) as they grew up way out West in the Seattle area. She enjoys serving her community, playing music, baseball, and spending time with her family and especially their 2 toddler daughters. You might bump into Timothy throughout the Nebraska Synod as he is the Director Mission, Innovation and Stewardship and serves as a Deacon.

I am excited to be in this discipleship life with you. I can’t wait to see how God will keep stirring in this congregation as we listen to call the share the Good News in our words and actions. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas!
In the meantime, keep this in your back pocket…
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. – 2nd Corinthians 5:17-19
God’s blessings,
Pastor Allison Siburg
