So many people came to Salem’s Health Cabinet Red Cross Blood Drive that they ran out of appointment spots! A couple days ago on Sunday at the fire hall in Nickerson they got 23 units to the American Red Cross, which will help so people in need.

From the American Red Cross: Surprisingly the blood drives that we have been able to have have been productive so thankful to still have the blood drive with the support of all of you! Please let donors know we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe at blood drives with checking temperatures, wiping down items in-between donors, wearing masks, keeping food individually wrapped, allowing donors to wait in their cars after donating and encouraging social distancing at the drives so yes blood drives are very essential.
